We work with a formulation partner and reference peer-reviewed data before locking any ingredient. We don’t follow trends. We follow the science. When the science changes, the formulas change with it.

I spent years in the operating room watching what actually happens when the body’s barrier fails — and what it takes to rebuild it. That background changes how you think about skincare.

When I looked at what was on the market, I kept finding the same problems. Products with five active ingredients on the label and none of them at a concentration that does anything. Formulas built around what photographs well in an Instagram flat lay. Claims with no clinical data behind them.

I wanted something different. I wanted to know: what does this ingredient actually do, at what concentration, in what vehicle — and is there a peer-reviewed trial to back it?

I worked with a formulator and went through multiple iterations of each product before anything shipped. The toner alone went through two formulators and one complete formula restart. Not because the first versions didn’t look good on paper. Because when I analyzed the chemistry, the ingredients were fighting each other.

Every product in this line is the answer to a specific clinical question. That’s the only standard I formulate to.
